  Its fun

  I gave the game a chance despite the backlash on the internet... AND I DO NOT REGRET... in my opinion this is one of the best AC games since they started with this open world format. The devs and artists did an amazing job at portraying Sengoku Jidai Japan and the amount of small details is just astounding. I mostly played as Naoe so far and the stealth gameplay and mechanics feel really good. Much better than in Valhalla or even the previous eras. If you love this era of Japan, if you love samurai and shinobi, if you are interested in learning more about Japan, their culture and want to see how it could have looked like back then... Assassins Creed Shadows is a game which wont disappoint if you give it a chance ! Personally I am glad I bought it, taking it slow and enjoying Naoes story a lot. Update: 70 hours in, I am still enjoying the game a lot.. and in addition to Naoes story, I got to experience Yasukes story as well and Its actually quite good. Anyone still doubting whether its worth to buy this game, just the storylines of both protagonists are definitely worth it and the huge, beautiful open world is just amazing. Many people compare this to Ghost of Tsushima or Ghost of Youtei, but this is a different game.. its a large scale RPG game in medieval Japan set in the years leading to Hideyoshis rise to power *not sure whether Tokugawa will play a part as well in the story*... this is a must for every samurai fanboy and fangirl.

  Don't really want to give a negative comment but it's just not that good. Was cool when exploring around but after a certain level everything becomes quite boring and many time you cannot climb up even a hill. Story is fine, is alright.

  So far nothing much to complain about, do not understand why this game got so much hate, its not that bad at all. Story seems good and interesting so far, graphics are top notch, really blew me away. So many things can be customized in settings how you want to play, not all things are fixed for example whether you want assasination to work every time and so on. Only thing that is weird is that there are armors and weapons you can buy for real money.

  Really wanted to like this game. Its fucking ass. Naoe is genuinely useless in all combat, she is only good at stealth if you turn on the setting that allows for assassinations to instant kill; otherwise you chip damage and are forced to run because you don't have any retaliation windows in her combat. Every mission is boring and repetitive. Yasuke isn't fun and doesn't really fit into the game well. Just buy Ghost of Tsushima.

  Uplay as a client is so broken that not even the automatic key activation works for me, so I cannot even play. That's terrible even by Ubisoft standards. Valve needs to act and enact a stricter ban on flawed 3rd party game launchers.

  This game is fun honestly I like how we get to switch between the two and the secenry is also amazing.

  SO GOOD
