    it good
The game crashed my PC twice within the first 2 hours of playing. I tried messing around with the settings to see if it would run better on lower graphics settings (I have a decent PC so there really shouldn't be any issues). I played for another hour or so without problems, so I though I had "fixed" the problem. Then my PC crashed again. Mind you, the game is crashing my entire PC, it's not just the game itself crashing. So I contacted Steam to get a refund seeing as though the game is basically unplayable. I was then informed that I had exceeded the 2 hour limit to qualify for a refund...wow. So now I'm out $45. Because I'm a good little consumerist sucker, I decided to try to play the game, knowing my PC would restart every couple hours or so (which it did, probably not good for my PC). 16 hours of mental anguish later, my PC has crashed at least 7 times. I'm now stuck at a cut scene that crashes my PC every time. Who knows, maybe I'll be in the mood for some more abuse from Ubisoft and give the cut scene another go... Just absolutely pathetic, what big studios expect their customers to put up with. Does anyone even release finished games anymore? And I almost forgot to mention that the game play is mediocre at best. The last AC I played was Valhalla, which was fine. This game feels like a re-skin, with worse game play mechanics. And why is the forest so dense? Like I can't see anything... oh wow the map is so big.... this is gonna be so great exploring all these trees... oh look another castle that looks exactly the same as all the others... Anyway, save your money. Don't reward Ubisoft for this garbage. And Steam, maybe change your return policy so I don't waste money on a game that is literally broken. Thanks for reading my Ted Talk... God Bless
This game is an absolute disappointment, they've managed to make it the most boring than any of new AS origins games, bravo. The key for that is to take all previous mechanics, and cut their functionality. Take side quests, and make them exactly the same. Oh and of course to increase the number of towers to visit, which will barely display map's secrets. And in the end, make it it look uglier than AS Odyssey, which was pretty bad, and obviously it couldn't even each Valhalla level visuals. Story and characters are just something they never bothered to work on, their fate is not interesting at all, you actually try to let them die as they definitely deserve it. If you are not going to buy this game, good, you won't loose anything at all. I wouldn't if I had a choice.
    Love it

This game is very bad and I don't recommend it to anyone. I've finished every new-gen Assassin’s Creed: Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla and Mirage, but this one I'm just dropping after 46 hours in, as I've started speedrunning the story just to finish it, and I'm not having fun at all. Up to around 15 hours it was a pretty fun game, the story started strong, but after that it becomes utterly repetitive, boring and random. It's basically a walking simulator from point A to point B just to kill some target you don't even know the reason for. Every region you get new random set of few targets to kill, you mark them on the map, go to the marked point and kill the target... repeat. The main story follows the exact same loop, every target you have to kill plays out in exactly the same way. PROS: - Very beautiful graphics. japan looks great, 4 seasons that constantly changes whole environment... It's just pretty. CONS: - Repetitiveness - Super boring question marks (go to the marked point, press triangle, wait, repeat) or ultra boring castles. Only kofuns were fun. - Story is just bad, but narration is a total disaster - Music is bad, forgettable and just strange - Totally empty big world that offers nothing - Side quests that are either new sets of targets to kill for no reason or fetch quests like kill 25,50, 100 enemies in every region - Trash combat system - Trash scouts system (eagle from previous games was much better) - Uninteresting, forgettable side characters
one of the best ACs they've made yet
GREAT GAME, the gameplay is way better imo than ghost of tsushima BUT the story in tsushima would never be topped by this, but everything with the gameplay in this game ive enjoyed so much to this point and without a doubt my favorite assassins creed game now
Boring and tedious. Story is uninteresting and way too long.

    not that bad
Naoe's gameplay is where this game shines for me, Yasuke can be fun if you just want to feel like a tank and mow down enemies, but I chose Naoe over Yasuke whenever the game had you choose one for some story elements. Feels a step closer to the stealth/assassin focused gameplay of older Assassin's Creed games more so than Valhalla, Odyssey, Mirage, and even Origins in my opinion.
    Great game!
It's great. Combat is fun, exploration is wonderful, characters are beautiful.
