  I completed the game on Playstation (around 50 hours of playtime) and the cross-save allowed me to pick up where I left off. Unfortunately logging into Ubisoft's app is a must which is annoying especially as the Steam Deck may prompt you to login every time you start the game up. The game runs surprisingly well on Steam Deck and it can look beautiful. The game is fine and fun, but it isn't groundbreaking or memorable. The problem I have with these RPG AC games is that I find them very long and chock full of side missions, activities, etc... AC: Shadows is the first of the RPG titles I've managed to finish, but around the end of Act 2 I started to feel quite fatigued at the idea of finishing it. Oddly, I'd still recommend it because it plays nicely, it's gorgeous and I enjoyed the first 30 hours.

  I've really been enjoying this game so far, even though I'm not the furthest in.

  This game is an absolute disappointment, they've managed to make it the most boring than any of new AS origins games, bravo. The key for that is to take all previous mechanics, and cut their functionality. Take side quests, and make them exactly the same. Oh and of course to increase the number of towers to visit, which will barely display map's secrets. And in the end, make it it look uglier than AS Odyssey, which was pretty bad, and obviously it couldn't even each Valhalla level visuals. Story and characters are just something they never bothered to work on, their fate is not interesting at all, you actually try to let them die as they definitely deserve it. If you are not going to buy this game, good, you won't loose anything at all. I wouldn't if I had a choice.

  Amaazing game too bad I CANT PLAY IT! Everytime i go to play ubisoft kicks me out even t5hough i save the info EVERY time. Now i cant reset my ubisoft password after so many times and now im permanently kicked out of my game!!!! Previously i could spend 15-20 minutes trying to get into ubisoft to let mwe reset my password but it wont let me anymore. Ubisoft you are horrible horrible people for logging mee out everytime i dont play for a week. You are awful for not letting steam just exist you just had to take my money and then take my ability to play away to. i wish i wasnt so poor i would sue your a**!!! EVERY time i come back im logged out of ubisoft no matter how many times you make me remake my password and ask to save my password just for it to have been a lie. now i cant even play AT ALL because i am somehow locked out of my ubisoft after reseting my password for the millionth time. just awful awful humans you are horrible people you shouldd be ashamed of your practices taaking so much of my time away from me so many times just to make it impossible to pplay. i tried reseting 2 step auth AGAIN and got locked out of it. absolutly ridiculous no horrendous company and human beings. steam you shouldnt associate with someone that removes our ability to play games we paid you for so many times and let them take so much of our time away and completely take away the want to play. so sick of going to play and not being able to and when i try it takes FOREVER and i give up. maybe i wil switch to world of warcraft it may be more $ but at least id be able to play the game. so disgusted words cant describe how dispicable this is

  The only thing great about this game is the graphics, parkour sucks imagine can't climb anything you want on a assassin's creed game. Gameplay wise stealth is great playing as naoe is awesome, yasuke is just standard ubisoft RPG character, combat is the same as their previous RPG style AC games nothing new. And jesus christ those awful so-called cutscene they have no soul, i only played this game on japanese dub because it offers immersive experience nahhhh it's because the english one is bad P.S : Only buy this game on sale !
